Motosonora Brewing Co is a brewery with a taproom and desert beer garden on South Park Avenue in Tucson. The idea came on a 2010 overland trip through South Africa and Botswana, when Tucson brothers Jeff and Jeremy DeConcini debated beers around the campfire. The name is a tribute to the golden age of cross country road racing.
The brewery makes Old World styles from Belgium, Germany and Britain alongside hoppy West Coast beers. Its beers include Victory or Death IPA, Fog Lights Hazy IPA, Twin Cam Pale Ale and El Mirage Marzen. The website lists a 2019 GABF silver medal for GoKart Mozart Malt Liquor.
The beer garden is planted with Sonoran desert plants. The Ruff Zone is a small off-leash area where dogs can run while you have a beer. Mike's Food Co. cooks in the beer garden, led by chef Mike Gradowski.
The taproom hosts music, films and slideshows by travelers home from adventures. Sundays bring trivia, and Moto Mondays invite riders to park their bikes on the Concours d'Moto. The roof is lined with solar panels.
