Catalina Brewing Company is a nano brewery and arcade in Tucson. Its website calls it Marana's original nano brewery, arcade and entertainment center. The theme is mountain biking, and murals on the game room walls show it.
The story starts at the 2009 24 Hours of Old Pueblo mountain bike race. Two partners talked about opening a brewery over some of Hank's home brew. The IPA that came out of that night carries the name 0200.
The bar pours its own beer, plus ciders, seltzers, bottled wine, mixed drinks and shots. A food cart on site makes tacos, Sonoran dogs, elote and guacamole. A patio with a fire pit sits outside.
Something is going on most weeks. The website lists trivia on Fridays, live music on Mondays and yoga classes, along with pinball leagues, darts, pool, shuffleboard and foosball.
