About Tyranena Brewing Company
Tyranena Brewing Company is a microbrewery in Lake Mills, Wisconsin, between Madison and Milwaukee. Its name is tied to a local legend about stone structures and effigy mounds that lie under the waters of Rock Lake. Visitors are invited to come up with their own theories.
The taproom pours American ales. The flagship lineup includes Three Beaches Honey Blonde, Bitter Woman IPA, Lake Millionaire Hazy IPA, Mangy Fox Copper Ale, Rocky's Revenge Bourbon Brown Ale and Chief Blackhawk Porter. Seasonal beers include IceHenge, a Belgian-style dubbel.
The taproom has a seasonal beer garden. Live music is often hosted on weekends, in the tasting room in winter and in the beer garden in summer. In summer, food trucks often serve nearby on the patio.
