Reuben's Brews - The Taproom is the Ballard brewery and taproom of Reuben's Brews, on 14th Avenue NW in Seattle. It opened in 2015 with a 15-barrel brewhouse right in the middle of the room. The smaller batches brewed here get poured across Reuben's locations and in distribution.
Adam and Grace Robbings opened Reuben's in Ballard in 2012 and named it after their first child. Their website says the brewery became the most decorated in Washington by 2018. It also says Crikey IPA was named Best North American Beer at the 2020 Brussels Beer Challenge.
There are 28 beers on tap, from everyday favorites to seasonals and non-alcoholic brews. The menu is family-friendly American pub fare. You order at the bar and pick up your food at the food truck parked outside.
Seating runs indoors and outdoors. The events calendar has included a Thursday chess club and Fresh Hop Fridays with live music during hop harvest in September.
