About Wildland Cooperative

Wildland Cooperative is a farm brewery, winery and market on Green Bluff in Colbert. It brews with the seasons and uses local ingredients, including LINC malt and goods from its own farm and neighboring farms.

The beer comes from a 7bbl system that grew out of a small home brew setup. Wine is made here too, and many of the blends are made with the family at Townshend Cellar. The taps also carry rotating guest cider and mead from local makers.

You can drink by the flight, glass or pint. Beer and wine also go home in a 64 oz growler or a 32 oz wowler. The market side carries goods from more than 20 local makers, and non-alcoholic drinks are always on offer.

The patio welcomes dogs on a leash, and all ages are welcome. There is a seasonally rotating menu and local picnic snacks, and you can bring your own food. More people have reviewed Wildland Cooperative on Google than any other brewery, taproom or beer shop in Colbert on this site.

Before you visit Wildland

Expect a working farm with a market and taphouse rather than a standard taproom. Wildland closes for winter in late December and reopens in spring, so check before a cold-season trip.

Look at wildland.coop for the current menu and the events calendar, which lists live music and workshops. Groups of 12 or more should email hello@wildland.coop first, since the taphouse does not take reservations.

New Maitland Brewing is 0.5 miles away. Big Barn Brewing Company in Mead is 1.9 miles away, which makes a second stop easy to add.
