About Vibrissa Beer
Vibrissa Beer is a brewery and restaurant in Old Town Winchester, near the walking mall. It opened in September 2022 in the former Winchester Star Building, once home to a newspaper. It is the second Vibrissa, after the original in Front Royal.
The flagship beers include a Helles lager, a West Coast IPA, a Hefeweizen, a milk stout, an English bitter and a Landbier. Its website says the Helles won a 2021 GABF silver medal and the stout won a 2023 GABF gold medal.
The kitchen serves pub fare with twists, and the Winchester location features artisan sourdough pizzas. The website lists gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian dishes too. There is also a large beer garden, and the site says the outdoor seating suits family, friends and dogs.
