About Pro Re Nata

Pro Re Nata is a farm brewery and music hall in Crozet, Virginia, just west of Charlottesville. It opened in 2015, and its website says live music is on most nights. The name is Latin for "as needed."

The beer is brewed on site. The taproom also pours Virginia hard cider from a local cidery, plus wine and canned cocktails. Non-alcoholic choices include NA beer, kombucha, sodas and boba tea.

The property has several spaces. They include the Original Brewery, the Main Tap Room with its stage, and outdoor seating that wraps around the grounds. By day, Balanced Bowls serves acai bowls, smoothies and lunch bowls in the Original Brewery room.

Leashed dogs are welcome inside and out, and kids are welcome too. More people have reviewed Pro Re Nata on Google than any other brewery, taproom or beer shop in Crozet on this site.
