About American Flatbread Burlington & Mothership Brewery

American Flatbread Burlington & Mothership Brewery is a wood-fired pizza restaurant and brewery on St Paul Street in Burlington. It has been open since 2004, in the old Burlington landmark Carbur's. Its website calls the place a local "third place" for the city.

The beer is made in house. The drink menu lists a house lager, a house IPA, a Bamberg Helles that is a slightly smoked lager, a doppelbock, a biere de garde and a coffee porter. Most of the beers are sold to take away in a growler.

The kitchen leans organic and local. Its website describes clean food grown by local farmers and made by artisans. Flatbreads come in small and large sizes, can be split half and half, and can be made with a gluten-free crust.

Private events are a big part of the place. The restaurant hosts wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners, welcome parties and company outings, and it caters offsite at the Intervale Center. It is one of the most reviewed beer spots in Burlington on this site.
