About Black Chapel Brewing Co.

Black Chapel Brewing Co. is a family-owned brewery and pizza kitchen on US-290 in Johnson City. It sits on the Charleston Taylor Estate, with a winery next door. It opened in June 2025.

The beer is brewed in-house. The rotating tap board has IPAs, easy lagers and a cucumber sour called Nude Pickleball. It also pours frosés and non-alcoholic slushies.

The kitchen makes its own dough and sauce. There are 13 signature pizzas named after outlaws, plus build-your-own pies, wings, salads and pasta bowls. A cauliflower crust is the gluten friendly option.

Dogs are welcome inside and out. There is also a kids' area, 12 TVs for game days and a patio under the oaks.
