About Witcher Brewing Co

Witcher Brewing Co is a family-owned brewery and biergarten on the 290 Wine Trail, just east of Fredericksburg. Its website says it was built to bring back some of the historic German biergarten culture. The site also says owner Dan Witcher is an Advanced Cicerone.

The taps lean toward clean lagers and balanced ales. The list includes an amber ale, a Vienna lager, a Mexican lager, a Bohemian pils and a hazy IPA. There are also house seltzers, wine on tap and a full espresso bar.

The kitchen serves pizza, house-smoked brisket and pulled pork sandwiches, and Texas-sized soft pretzels. The room has long communal tables and a place to watch live sports. Covered outdoor seating and open space outside leave room for kids and pets.

Private events fit here too, indoors or out. Google lists a wheelchair accessible entrance, parking lot, restroom and seating.
