On Rotation Brewery & Kitchen is a family owned brewpub on Lemmon Avenue near Dallas Love Field. It brews on one of the smallest systems in the city, a three barrel setup that makes about 90 gallons at a time. Since the guest taps rotate out as soon as a keg runs dry, that is where the name comes from.
The taproom pours 40 rotating taps of craft beer, cider and hard seltzer, plus a wine list and cocktails. The in-house beers are small batch and change often, including recurring releases like a Jalapeno Saison, an IPA series called Flocculation of Seagulls and a Cafe Au Lait Chicory Coffee Milk Stout. Beer to go comes in cans, crowlers and growlers filled on demand.
The kitchen makes gluten-free fried chicken from scratch every day, served by the half or quarter bird, in sandwiches, wraps and salads. A gluten-free version of the full menu is available, along with a brunch menu.
It is a family-friendly spot, and the patios are dog-friendly with an occasional view of planes leaving Love Field overhead. Seating is open, though reservations are available for large groups.
