Meanwhile Brewing is a brewery, coffee shop and live music venue with its own soccer and volleyball fields, on Promontory Point Drive in Austin. That combination is the reason to come. Its website says the taproom opens early on weekdays to run a full coffee program alongside its beer.

The beer list runs from hazy and double IPAs to German-style lagers, plus fruited sours and a coffee cream ale. The taproom pours beer to go as well as on site.

Food trucks are on site seven days a week, and outside food is not allowed. Besides beer, the taproom pours wine, cider, low proof cocktails, house-made seltzer cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks, plus a full coffee menu of espresso, cold brew and tea.

Kids are welcome, and Meanwhile asks that you keep an eye on them. Dogs on a leash are welcome too, though they are asked to stay off the soccer field. The site also hosts live music, sports leagues and private events for larger groups.
