Lazarus Brewing Co. East 6th is a brewpub and coffee bar on East 6th Street in Austin, one of two Lazarus locations in the city. The website says the brewery started on Christmas Eve of 2016, when a fly fishing pastor from Montana and his wife moved to Texas to open it.
The brewery makes more than 70 beers a year and says it has won six gold medals in national and international competition, including its Crazy Horse Czech pilsner and Prodigal Pils German pilsner. Every beer is brewed gluten-removed, using an enzyme called Clarex to keep gluten below 20 parts per million.
The kitchen serves scratch-made Mexican street food, including tacos, with vegan, gluten free and kids menu options. Lazarus also runs a full coffee bar with house-roasted coffee, a wine list, frozen cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks. Google describes it as a spot for house beers sold only on the premises, along with root beer, kombucha and espresso.
