Celis Brewery is a revival of a landmark Austin brewery, on Metric Blvd in Austin. Pierre Celis founded it, bringing back the Belgian witbier style he first brewed in Hoegaarden, Belgium. The Celis White flagship is a direct descendant of that original witbier.
The tap list covers core beers, seasonal and legacy releases, specialty beers, taproom IPAs and other alternatives. Celis White itself is brewed with coriander and orange peel, at 4.9% ABV.
The outdoor Beer Garden has lawn games, live music and a big LED screen for watching Austin FC and other games. It is dog friendly too, so you can bring yours along for the afternoon.
Food trucks rotate through the beer garden, including Mama Rosa's Quesabirria for tacos and quesabirria and Kaizabb Chicken & Fries for made to order fried chicken and egg rolls. The taproom and beer garden can also be booked for private events like film festivals or company parties.
