About Cactus Land Brewing Company
Cactus Land Brewing Company is a rural destination brewery and taproom in Adkins, southeast of San Antonio. Owners Dustin and Erica Teague began brewing in 2016. The taproom is open to the public on the first and third weekends of each month.
The beer list is wide. Styles run from stouts and IPAs to pilsners, wheat beers, fruit beers and sours. La Tuna Wheat uses prickly pears picked on the brewery's own land, and the Peanut Butter Stout is the most popular stout.
Not a beer drinker? There are craft wines and ciders, plus homemade root beer and lemonade with no alcohol. Food trucks park on site during open hours, and local musicians play free shows that welcome all ages.
Families are welcome, and the beer garden has outdoor seating. The brewery says the Teagues won several homebrewing competitions before opening commercially. Cans and growler fills go home with you.
