Balance Brewing Company is a brewery on Babcock Blvd in Pittsburgh, serving the North Hills community. Co-founders Rob and Matt worked together at Hitchhiker Brewing in 2019. They built the place around beers that are balanced in flavor, drinkability and creativity.
The tap list runs from hazy IPAs like Chromatic and Gorilla Gardening to Among Ruins Pale Ale, Fretless Session Stout, House Lager and Cat Party Cream Ale. A peach and mango sour is on the beer page too. Cans to go come in 4 and 6 packs.
There is a game room with pool, bubble hockey and cornhole, and it is a 21+ space. Out on the patio, well-behaved, attended, leashed dogs are welcome. The brewery says it aims to be family friendly and to welcome people of all ages.
Thursdays bring trivia, and Tuesday and Thursday are game nights. Live music plays on Fridays, and food trucks stop by the taproom.
