Evil Genius Beer Company is a brewery and taproom on Front Street in Fishtown, Philadelphia. The brewery calls its home The Lab. The beers are known for their pop culture names, like Stacy's Mom, 867-5309 and Purple Monkey Dishwasher.
Stacy's Mom is a year-round flagship, an IPA dry-hopped entirely with Citra. Other regulars include Fernando, a crisp Mexican-style lager, and #Adulting, a guava IPA. Seasonals rotate through the year, from hazy mango IPA to a chocolate peanut butter porter.
Something runs most nights of the week. The taproom lists trivia on Wednesday, a cornhole league on Thursday, live music on Saturday and drag brunch on Sunday. The website also posts ticketed events like live band karaoke and Oktoberfest in the beer garden.
