Other Half Brewing is a brewery on Canal Street in Philadelphia. It is one of eight Other Half taprooms spread across New York, Pennsylvania, Washington D.C. and the Finger Lakes region. Sam Richardson, Matt Monahan and Andrew Burman started the brand in Brooklyn in 2014.
Other Half built its name on hazy IPAs and pastry stouts, and its year round lineup still leans that way. Flagship beers like Green City and Forever Ever stay on tap alongside newer releases such as the lager Snaps. New beers come out on a rotating schedule throughout the year.
The Philadelphia taproom takes bookings for private events, from corporate gatherings to weddings, through the Other Half website. It also runs a trivia night for anyone who wants to test their beer knowledge between rounds.
