About Alesong Brewing & Blending
Alesong Brewing & Blending is an intentionally small brewery, winery and cidery in the Southern Willamette Valley near Eugene. It focuses on oak-aging, and its tasting room sits between vineyards and rolling hills. The website says Alesong was named the 2024 Great American Beer Festival Brewery of the Year.
Barrel-aged beer, wine and cider pour on draft and by the bottle, along with seasonal releases and exclusive vintage pours. Profiles range from tart and fruity to rich and malty. Non-alcoholic drinks are available too.
Right next to the tasting room, stacks of foeders and barrels hold wild and sour beer in process. You can peek through the window, or ask your server for a look around if they have a moment. The from-scratch kitchen serves seasonal salads, shareables and sandwiches, plus staples like burgers.
Alesong calls itself family-friendly, and well-behaved dogs on leashes are welcome. The exception is club release parties and other major events, when dogs should stay home. The patio has panoramic views and has hosted live music.
