About Boneyard Beer
Boneyard Beer is a Bend brewery with a tasting room on NW Lake Place. It was built from scrap, as the website tells it. Before the first batches in 2010, Tony collected equipment that other brewers had put out to pasture.
The crew cut, welded and fabricated what it needed from that gear. Boneyard brews in a unitank style, so the beer is never transferred or moved during the process. The website says it still runs on the same equipment, kept in perfect running order.
The motto comes from Tony Lawrence: clean, balanced, interesting. The website's beer list includes RPM India Pale Ale, Bone-A-Fide Pale Ale and Hop Venom DIPA. The beer list also shows Holy Bones, Litter Critters and lambics like Funky Bunch, Gooze Cruze and Oude Kriek.
