About Craft Collective
Craft Collective is a beer hall and brewpub inside the Market Hall at the Van Aken District in Shaker Heights. Two 250 gallon oak foudres sit at the center of the taproom.
Those foudres were first filled when the doors opened in 2019. They are made for the long aging of specialty beers and are refilled over the years. The first release was a sour ale made from 100% Ohio grown barley and wheat malted by Haus Malts.
The second release blended both foudres with dark sweet cherries, orange peel and a blend of spices. The result is an almost red ale with tropical fruit and citrus notes and a refreshing finish.
There is a Trivia Night, and the space can be booked for events. The entrance, parking lot, restroom and seating are all wheelchair accessible.
