About Branch & Bone Artisan Ales
Branch & Bone Artisan Ales is an independent brewery in the Historic South Park neighborhood of Dayton. Its website says it was born out of friendship and a shared passion for beer. The focus is funky, alternative fermentation.
Sour beer, saison and mixed fermentation styles are staples, along with spontaneous fermentation. The brewery also says it enjoys IPA, lager, English pub ales, stouts and especially barleywine. Some of its beer features local ingredients, including ones foraged from nearby plants.
The taproom is small, and the brewery says seating can be limited at busy times. Dogs are welcome on the patio, and the site says families are welcome too. You can carry in your own food and non-alcoholic drinks.
There is no kitchen. The brewery sells chips, and it books food trucks for special events and most Sundays in the warmer months.
