Petty Thieves Brewing Co is a brewery and taproom in Charlotte's Lower North End. Its website says the beers borrow from world brewing traditions, from Bavarian biergartens to Mexican cervecerias and Japanese izakayas. The site calls every beer a passport stamp.
The taproom pours small-batch beer brewed on site. The website lists crisp lagers, sessionable pilsners, bold stouts, experimental sours and hoppy IPAs. A few flagships are always available, and rotating beers fill out the rest of the list.
