Pilot Brewing is a neighborhood nano-brewery in the Plaza Midwood area of Charlotte. Its website says it brews one barrel at a time on purpose, and puts quality over hype. You will find it behind Snooze AM Eatery & Yafo.
The website describes the beers as small-batch and ever-changing. It says the recipes respect traditional styles and leave room for experiments. Owner Rachael Hudson and co-owner Jeff Hudson are both listed there as Cicerones.
The taproom keeps snacks on hand, and you are welcome to bring food from neighboring spots. Food trucks rotate through, and the events page keeps track of them. There is a patio too.
