Rye Knot is a brewery, distillery and restaurant on Merrimon Avenue in Asheville. Its website says the in-house brewery and distillery is the first of its kind in North Carolina. The business was founded in 2020.
The beer is sold as Captain Bob's. The draught list includes a blonde ale, a dunkel lager, a house IPA, a nut brown ale and an oatmeal porter. A flight of four small pours lets you sample several.
The spirits are made on site too. The website lists single barrel rye whiskey, bourbon, corn whiskey, gin, rum and vodka, along with a spirits flight.
