About BREW-ed Brewery Tours
BREW-ed Brewery Tours is a walking tour company in downtown Asheville. Its website says that since 2013 it has offered the only brewery tours in Asheville led by guides with Cicerone Program certification. Google lists it as both a brewery and a tour operator.
Cliff Mori founded BREW-ed. The website says he was the first person in Western North Carolina to earn the Cicerone title. Before starting the company he spent years at the Thirsty Monk and helped open Wicked Weed.
The tours are on foot, so there is no bus. Guests sample beer at each stop and learn how it is made. The website says the route goes behind the scenes, including production areas closed to regular customers, and that samples are included in the ticket.
Private tours let a group choose the day, the time and the itinerary. The website mentions family reunions, bachelor parties and team building. Google lists a wheelchair accessible entrance, parking lot, restroom and seating.
