About Ausable Brewing Company

Ausable Brewing Company is a farm-based nanobrewery on Mace Chasm Rd in Keeseville. It sits on 140 acres in the Champlain Valley, just east of the Adirondack High Peaks. Brothers Dan and Dylan Badger own and run it.

The brewery and taproom fill an old barn from the 1880s, renovated in 2013. The farm grows three varieties of hops and a growing number of fruit trees and bushes. Some of that fruit ends up in the Belgian ales.

The tap list runs from amber ale, rye pilsner and hefeweizen to IPAs, a porter, a scotch stout and a barrel-aged Flanders red. There are also house-made ginger soda and root beer with no alcohol. New York wine and cider are poured at the bar. A big beer garden and a large pavilion host live music and food trucks all summer.
