About Two Goats Brewing
Two Goats Brewing is a brewpub on State Route 414 in Burdett, overlooking Seneca Lake. It is built in a renovated 19th century barn. Jon and Jess Rodgers opened it in 2010.
The beer is made on site on a manually operated 7-barrel system. The regular rotation includes Goatmaster, Goatmeal Stout, Golden Crush, X-IPA and Hector Logger. Everything is unfiltered and comes in glasses, flights, growlers and occasionally cans.
Food is one signature sandwich, beef-on-weck. The website says the local beef is slow-cooked, thin-sliced and piled onto a housemade kimmelweck roll. A hummus sandwich covers the vegetarians.
The site says live original music runs Thursday through Sunday, depending on the season. It calls the taproom dog and kid friendly. The ceiling is covered in dollar bills, which the brewery takes down every few years and gives away at a fundraiser.
