About Abandon Brewing Company
Abandon Brewing Company is a brewery and taproom in Penn Yan. It works out of an 1800s barn on 25 acres of vineyards and hops overlooking Keuka Lake. Its website says the land was bought in 2010 and was completely abandoned and in disrepair.
The site says nearly all the ingredients are grown within fifty miles of the brewery. That includes barley, wheat, rye, hops, fruit and honey. The lineup changes seasonally and often includes English porters, German lagers, Belgian ales, IPAs and barrel-aged beers.
The kitchen serves wood-fired pizza from Friday to Monday, and brunch runs every Sunday. Live music and comedians play on weekends. Owners AJ Noto and Sarah Struzzi-Noto run it as a family business.
The barn and a pavilion with a view of Keuka Lake are used for weddings and events. More people have reviewed Abandon Brewing Company on Google than any other brewery, taproom or beer shop in Penn Yan on this site.
