About New Mexico Hard Cider Taproom
New Mexico Hard Cider Taproom is a cider bar on Cerrillos Road in Santa Fe. Its website says it pours 9 taps of hard cider brewed in Santa Fe. The business grew out of a 2013 harvest of a friend's grandmother's apple and pear trees.
The cider list on the website includes rhubarb, apricot, sangria, blackberry, blood orange, extra dry, semisweet and green tea. Another 12 rotating taps carry locally crafted beer and spirits. The beer comes from makers such as Sierra Blanca, Second Street, La Cumbre, Bosque and Hidden Mountain.
Craig Moya started it. While he home-brewed and waited on federal and state licenses, he restored his uncle's overgrown orchard in Villanueva. By 2014 the business was big enough for him to go full time.
The website posts a food menu. It also lists Taco Tuesday every Tuesday.
