Breweries in New Mexico

Albuquerque carries the New Mexico beer map, with more than two fifths of the places listed. Add Santa Fe and Las Cruces, and about three in five sit in those three cities. The rest are spread across dozens of smaller towns, from Farmington and Taos to Carlsbad.
Nearly every place listed is a brewery or brewpub. Where size is known, brewpubs slightly outnumber microbreweries, and there is a small group of regional breweries.
Marble Brewery began as a small downtown Albuquerque taproom and still pours there today. La Cumbre Brewing Co serves strong IPAs and clean lagers at its original taproom on Girard Boulevard. At Bombs Away Beer Company, a veteran owned brewery, almost every beer is gluten removed.
Planning a brewery trip in New Mexico
Albuquerque makes the easiest base by far, since so many breweries cluster there. Rio Rancho, Corrales, Bernalillo and Los Lunas add more stops of their own.
Santa Fe has the next biggest group, and Las Cruces has a good number too. In smaller towns, Cloudcroft Brewing Company in Cloudcroft and Red River Brewing Company & Distillery in Red River are among the most reviewed in the state.
