Rio Bravo Brewing Company is a brewpub on 2nd Street NW in Albuquerque. It opened in 2015, and it is run by Denise and Randy, who are Albuquerque natives. The idea began on a road trip in Ireland, where they pictured a welcoming spot like the bar in Cheers.
The beer menu runs from lagers and IPAs to a coffee porter, a kettle sour and barrel aged stouts. Somos Brewnidos is a New Mexican lager that sends a portion of every beer sold to the Somos Unidos Foundation. Its website calls the Rio Bravo IPA award winning.
There is a full kitchen. The menu lists tacos, nachos, wings, quesadillas and sandwiches, and brunch is on offer too.
The event space takes private parties and large public events. Its website lists weddings, birthdays, networking events and music festivals among the gatherings it has hosted.
