About Lions Roar Brewing Co.
Lions Roar Brewing Co. is a neighborhood brewery on South Avenue West in Westfield. It is built as a place to escape the 9 to 5 over a refreshing beer. Owner Maddie works the bar, books the events and runs the social media.
The beers are small batch. The taps cover an American lager, an extra special bitter, an American IPA and a hazy New England IPA called Never Stop in the Circle. Hard seltzers in guava, pomegranate and mango sit alongside them.
The beer garden is fully covered and open rain or shine, and the taproom is the indoor space. Trivia runs here, and private events can take over either room. There is no kitchen, so you bring your own food.
The staff are a big part of the draw. Many are coworkers turned family, and they like to chat with whoever sits at the bar.
