About Ten Mile Creek Brewery

Ten Mile Creek Brewery is a seven barrel brewery on the historic Last Chance Gulch Walking Mall in downtown Helena. It opened in October 2015 and became the third brewery in Helena. Three local Montanans founded it: Jordan Keltz, Ethan Kohoutek and Riley Tubbs, who were 24 at the time.

The name comes from Ten Mile Creek, whose watershed supplies most of Helena with water. The brewery says each batch uses Montana grown barley and that it sources other ingredients as locally as it can. The small system lets it experiment often with new beers.

The room carries the same local streak. The bar, tables and trim are made from pine beetle killed trees harvested near Helena. The brewery features local artists on its walls and local musicians, and it tries to have local food trucks.

Weekly events include Beer Choir on Monday evenings and yoga on Sunday mornings with a beer afterward. It is one of the most reviewed beer spots in Helena on this site.
