About Angry Hank's Microbrewery
Angry Hank's Microbrewery is a brewery in downtown Billings, in a building that was a carriage house in 1916. Its website says the brewery opened in 2006 in an old gas station and moved into the carriage house in 2014. The site also says every step from milling to packaging happens in-house.
The website says the water comes from the nation's largest free-flowing river. The barley is grown in Montana and malted in Great Falls, and the hops come from Washington's Yakima Valley. The yeast is house-grown.
The beer list includes Angry Hank's Blonde Ale, Anger Management Belgian Wheat, Head Trauma Pale Ale, Street Fight Irish Red Ale, Raspbeery Pucker and Angry Hombre Mexican style lager. Seasonals such as Frost Killer Scottish Ale and a Czech Pilsner round out the lineup.
Since 2024 the taproom also has a beer and wine license. That lets it pour wine, cider, seltzer and sours alongside its own beer. The website also lists space rental for events.
