About Half Pint Brewing Company
Half Pint Brewing Company is a farm brewery and taproom on 150th Street in Waseca. The brewery says it is Minnesota's first farm brewery and taproom. The beer is made with homegrown hops and local ingredients.
Mike McQuery is the head brewer, and he owns the place with his wife Amy and two other couples. They moved to Waseca from the Portland area. They bought land with room for a brewery, a taproom and growing hops.
The taproom pours eight beers on tap, plus a rotating gluten reduced selection and root beer. The tap list changes weekly. Flights of four make it easy to try more than one.
Meat sticks are sold in the taproom, and pizza can be delivered from a neighborhood pizza farm. You can also bring your own food. Half Pint is one of the most reviewed beer spots in Waseca on this site.
