Urban Growler Brewing Company is a brewery, taproom and restaurant on Endicott Street in St Paul's Creative Enterprise Zone. It calls itself the first women-owned microbrewery in Minnesota. Out back there is a large beer garden where dogs are welcome.
The flagships are Cowbell Cream Ale, Minnow Bite Pilsner, Crossroads IPA and a Vanilla Latte Blonde Ale made with coffee from St. Paul's True Stone Coffee Roasters. The Plow to Pint series uses local farm harvests. Hard seltzers, CannaFizz THC drinks and Urban Glow mocktails round out the list.
The full kitchen uses fresh, local ingredients and has vegetarian and gluten-free options. Fridays bring a Wisconsin-inspired fish fry, and you can add Cowbell Cream Ale beer cheese to almost anything.
The brewery is family friendly, and live music plays on the patio from June through September. It is one of the most reviewed beer spots in St Paul on this site.
