Bauernhof Klause; BK Tap Haus & Bourbon Room is a beer hall in St Michael, Minnesota. It is a modern German-inspired community tap room celebrating Minnesota craft beers. Most of the tap handles go to Minnesota breweries.
Two beers carry the house label. BK Hefeweizen and Main Street Farmer Cream Ale are brewed in partnership with a local brewer. The bourbon program has grown too, and the bar says it can arguably be called one of the best in the Twin Cities.
The kitchen leans gastropub. The menu has jumbo salted pretzels with jalapeño cheddar cheese sauce, wings, kielbasas, bratwursts, pierogi and a schnitzel sandwich. There is also a BBQ cowboy burger.
Live music plays on weekends on an indoor stage. A large outdoor summer patio has its own stage, and community table seating suits private parties. The bar says it holds a Restaurant Guru 2024 best pub and bar badge.
