About Day Block Brewing Company
From Day Block Brewing Company's own website and its Google listing, read October 4, 2026.
Day Block Brewing Company is a downtown Minneapolis brewpub with house beer, a full restaurant and a live music program. The name comes from the Day Block building, which was built in 1883 and has housed a long line of businesses. The brewery ties some beer names to that building history.
The food side includes scratch made pizza, burgers, wings, salads and shareable plates. Its beer program covers hoppy, malty, dark and light flagships, with seasonal lagers, pilsners, Kölsch and stouts. A full bar adds cocktails and other drinks.
The patio is dog friendly, and the website lists kid friendly drinks. Live music and other events are part of the calendar, and private event bookings are available. Growlers and crowlers are also offered for beer to go.
