About Lake Ann Brewing Company
Lake Ann Brewing Company is a brewery and brewpub on First Street in Lake Ann, Michigan. It is a casual, rustic up north tavern. It was founded in 2014 in the old LA Cafe building.
Guy Gray built the building in 1948 and 1949 as the Snack Shack. It was a tea house that also sold fishing supplies. Matt Therrien has been a home brewer for almost 20 years.
The list covers house beers and ciders, plus local mead and wine. The menu has included a Mexican lager, a blonde, a kettle sour, an Oktoberfest and an oatmeal stout. Take-home fills come in howler and growler sizes.
Music is a big part of the place. Summer shows run on the outdoor stage, and there are also open mic and trivia nights. Families are welcome, and a park sits across the street.
