About Big Buck Brewery
Big Buck Brewery is a brewery and restaurant on South Wisconsin Avenue in Gaylord, Michigan. Big stuffed heads hang on the wall, and its website promises big brews and a big friendly Northern Michigan attitude. Cathy and Shawn Smalley took over in May 2018 and describe the work as rebranding a local icon.
The beer list runs from Buck Naked, an American blonde ale, to Michigan Sunrise, an IPA made with all Michigan hops. Midnight Velvet is a milk stout served on nitro. Cider 45 is a traditional hard apple cider, and Doug Mehl is the head brewer.
The website describes farm-to-table food and a focus on Michigan-made products. There is a separate Little Fawns menu, and the site offers online ordering and catering.
The website also has pages for live music and private events. More people have reviewed Big Buck Brewery on Google than any other brewery, taproom or beer shop in Gaylord on this site.
