Wormtown Brewery is a brewery and taproom on Shrewsbury Street in Worcester. It started in 2010 in an old ice cream shop on Park Avenue. The brewery moved to its Shrewsbury Street address in 2015.
The flagship is Be Hoppy, an IPA that its website ties to Worcester's claim as the birthplace of the smiley face. Other beers, like Blizzard of '78 and Rocket Pale Ale, nod to local stories. The taproom pours 16 taps, including taproom exclusives.
The taproom was renovated and is now twice the size. A full kitchen serves comfort food, and there is a kids menu with games for the little ones. Flights are on offer too.
Wednesday is trivia night, and Monday evenings belong to a run club. It is one of the most reviewed beer spots in Worcester on this site.
