Trillium Brewing Company runs its Fort Point taproom and restaurant on Thomson Place in Boston. JC and Esther Tetreault opened Trillium in March 2013 in this same Fort Point neighborhood, with three employees. It has since grown to a team of more than 300.
Trillium makes hundreds of different beers each year, plus spirits, seltzer and wine. It calls itself a modern New England farmhouse-inspired brewery. You can drink draft pours in the first floor taproom, out on the patio or up on the roof deck.
The kitchen serves a full menu and a kids menu. Trillium says its Fort Point and Canton restaurants work with more than 30 local vendors and use produce from its own farm in North Stonington, Connecticut. The Fort Point page also points to Headroom, an evening space for small plates and craft cocktails.
The taproom is family friendly, and leashed dogs are welcome on the patio. It is one of the most reviewed beer spots in Boston on this site.

Do I need a reservation at Trillium Fort Point?
No. Walk-ins are always welcome. You can reserve for parties of 1 to 8 up to 14 days ahead on Resy, and reservations are for indoor seating.
Can I bring my dog or kids?
Yes. Leashed dogs are welcome on the patio. The location is family friendly and has a kids menu.
Can I order beer to go?
Yes. Same day pickup orders open online at 9am, with no order minimum. Trillium also ships beer to some states.
Can Fort Point host a private event?
Yes. It offers private and semi-private dining for groups of 10 to 200, with customizable menus from a full kitchen.

You can simply walk in. If you want a table for a set time, book it on Resy, and ask for the patio or roof deck when you arrive. The kitchen closes an hour before the taproom does.

Cisco Brewers Seaport is a four minute walk away, and Night Shift on The Greenway is about eight minutes on foot. Harpoon Brewery is a short drive off.
