About The Seventh Tap Brewing Project

The Seventh Tap Brewing Project is a brewery and taproom on Linwood Avenue in Shreveport. Its website says it started with three homebrewers named Jose, Colby and Samuel. They met through a homebrew group in Shreveport in 2014.

The name comes from a jockey box they built with six taps. The site says an extra hole got drilled by accident, and that seventh tap gave the group its identity. It says they served beer at events and won multiple awards before they opened the brewery.

The Linwood taproom has its own food menu on the website. The site notes the kitchen is closed on Sundays. Google lists the place as a brewery, bar and beer garden, with a wheelchair accessible entrance, parking lot, restroom and seating.

The Seventh Tap also runs a second taproom in Bossier City. This one is one of the most reviewed beer spots in Shreveport on this site.
