About Nortons Brewing Company
From Nortons Brewing's own website and its Google listing, read October 4, 2026.
Nortons Brewing Company is a brewery, restaurant and beer garden in downtown Wichita. It promises thoughtfully designed, aggressively brewed beer in an eclectic, industrial space. Several core beers were designed and named by members of the Norton family.
Don't Poke the Bear, an imperial nitro milk stout with chocolate, vanilla and local coffee, was designed by the family's eldest daughter. Polkadot Princess, a Belgian golden strong ale aged on peaches, came from the youngest. Becky Norton designed Luvbug, a hefeweizen brewed with Mosaic hops.
The rest of the core list includes Ride the Lightning, an American pilsner, Milo's Sparkly Eyes, a West Coast IPA, and Ozone, a hazy IPA. Seasonals rotate through, from a Mexican lager to sours and more hazy IPAs.
The kitchen's calling card is Bacon Crack, a thick candied bacon, and the wings are tossed in sauces made with the core beers. The Norton Burger stacks a double bacon cheeseburger between two grilled cheese sandwiches. It is one of the most reviewed beer spots in Wichita on this site.
