Herrmann Brewthers Bierwerks is a brewery and taproom on the west side of Indianapolis. Two brothers started it after they began brewing in a garage with a turkey fryer. The taproom opened its doors in late October 2023.
The website's tap list has included a blonde ale called Fickle, a pale ale called Gusto and an India pale ale called Carbonite. It also lists Naptown, a dry Irish stout, along with a sour, a rye IPA and a mango tart. Beers to go are sold in growlers.
The brewery does not cook on site. Outside food is welcome, and the brewery has partnered with food trucks in the past. It also sells soft pretzels and hot dogs.
Outside, a patio has picnic tables, chairs and cornhole. Dogs are welcome on the patio if they stay on a leash. Trivia runs on Thursday nights.
