About Vantage Point Brewing Company

Vantage Point Brewing Company is a brewery and restaurant on East Coeur d'Alene Lake Drive in Coeur d'Alene. Its website says it specializes in German-style beers. It is owned and operated by Kevan McCrummen, who studied at the Siebel Institute's brewing school in Chicago.

The brewery says about half its focus is lighter, traditional styles. That includes American, Mexican and German lagers, English ESB and amber, and English cask beer. The menu also names a Mexican Lager and a flagship called Westie IPA.

The kitchen serves crispy brussels, loaded poutine, smash burgers, street tacos and house-smoked meats. The building is nearly 10,000 square feet, with a large bar and communal seating in the first-floor taproom. In warmer months, roll-up doors open to a lawn with cornhole boards, Adirondack chairs and two gas firepits.

Upstairs, a private entertainment room is set aside for events. The website also mentions indoor and outdoor family-friendly games.
