About Printer's Ale Manufacturing Company
Printer's Ale Manufacturing Company is a 20-barrel production brewery and taproom in Carrollton. Its website says the family has worked as printers and as brewers for generations. Greg Smith opened the brewery in 2017, and the site calls him the great-great-great grandson of a German brewmaster who opened a gasthaus in 1800.
The beer program has two divisions. The Clean Program covers ales and lagers fermented in stainless steel, including IPAs, stouts and pilsners. The Farmhouse Program draws on Belgian and French countryside styles, and those beers age at least 6 months in barrels.
The Kitchen serves a farm to table menu meant to pair with the beers. Live music shows up on the events calendar, and the site takes private event inquiries.
Google lists a wheelchair accessible entrance, parking lot, restroom and seating. More people have reviewed Printer's Ale on Google than any other brewery, taproom or beer shop in Carrollton on this site.
