Breweries in Georgia

Atlanta anchors the Georgia beer map, with nearly a fifth of the breweries in the city itself. Marietta, Cumming, Athens and Savannah follow a long way behind. The rest are spread across more than a hundred cities and towns.

Beer stores are a big part of the picture here, at nearly a quarter of the places listed. The two most reviewed spots in the state are both beer stores, Beverage SuperStore of Grayson and Z & Z Package Store in Locust Grove. Most of the rest are breweries, and where size is known, most are small microbreweries.

In Atlanta, Monday Night Garage is Monday Night Brewing's barrel-aging and souring brewery, right on the BeltLine in the West End. SweetWater Brewing Company pairs its brewery with a bar and restaurant, so you can eat where the beer is made. In Macon, Fall Line Brewing Co. and Ocmulgee Brewpub are two of the most reviewed breweries in the state.
