Wulfaven Brewing Company is a family-built neighborhood brewery on Perez Drive in Tampa. Joseph Lazzara and his father, Santo, dreamed it up in 2017 after a combined 30-plus years in the industry. Ground broke on the property at the end of 2021.
The name blends wolf and haven. The family sees the wolf as a teacher that depends on its pack, and the haven as a place to gather and unwind.
Crisp, clean lagers anchor the tap list. Tractor Pull is the flagship American light lager, Traktorzug is a kolsch named in its honor and Nonno's Pils is an Italian pilsner. Hop fans get hazy IPAs like Six Shooter and a cold IPA called Zesty Westy.
Darker picks include Tampa Runs On Dunkel and Schwarzzilla, a schwarzbier. Wine, ciders, seltzers and non-alcoholic beers are on hand too. The bar also mixes a Beerlini of beer and prosecco with fruit juice.
